Nicole Knops – Head of Webinars & Course Development
Magister Artium (German Philology/Germanist), PR-Consultant, integral and resilience coach, communicative bridge builder.
My tasks at ecodemy: Communication training or coaching for our graduates to feel more confident in their counselling practice and to be generally mindful and appreciative with one another. I guide our students through the webinar with the goal of giving them a first feel of how a counselling session can look like: how much space they can open for exploration and development, what a client tells them between their words, and more. Christina is a very nice and competent support for the webinars. The two of us can guarantee that our students can playfully practice the role of a counselor or client in a safe, virtual space. Furthermore, I develop (new) study materials with the team. My area of expertise here is communication with regard to different psychological topics that can help you in the future when working as a Vegan Nutritionist, as well as in your daily life.
For me, the spirit of ecodemy is: Passion.
I became vegan: in spring 2014, after 35 years of living meat-free, mainly for ethical reasons.
My way into the team: Through my friend Sonja, whom I followed doing her training at ecodemy. She got me into contact with the team. Up to and including February 2019 I worked as a freelancer. Since then, I am officially and happily part of the ecodemy team!
What makes me happy: traveling (especially to Italy), the snow, sunshine, pasta, open fire, my family and friends, lively exchange and moments of silence
What else is good to know about me: I am interested in individual, holistic development and the stepping stones on the way there, I meditate on a regular basis, deal with topics such as subjective perception versus reality, resilience, unleashing your potential, mindfulness, the chances and the positive as well as the negative side effects of interactions – in professional and private life.
